The 18th International Workshop on Human-Friendly Robotics (HFR 2025) will take place on June 15–16, 2025, at Centro Congressi Paradiso, Capri Island, Italy.
The workshop scope mainly focuses on human-robot interaction, and robots safely and meaningfully working with/alongside humans in various daily or industrial tasks. We aim to bring together researchers and industry working in the related areas to discuss the recent results, discoveries, applications, and challenges in the field. The workshop has a single-track format to maximize the interaction between all participants.
This year, the International Workshop on Human-Friendly Robotics is connected to the FIRST EDITION of the PhD School on “Supervised Autonomy: How to Shape Human–Robot Interaction” Students and research groups willing to participate at HFR are encouraged to register at this exciting school, which is organized immediately after, from June 17 to 21, in the same location. Developing human-friendly robots capable of safe and trustworthy collaboration requires envisioning and validating new paradigms. To explore these paradigms and address the key factors influencing human–robot collaboration, the upcoming school “Supervised Autonomy: How to Shape Human–Robot Interaction” will bring together experts to cover topics from physical design to artificial intelligence, across various application areas.
